Charlton School

The school will stay open if at all possible when there is severe weather, including snow and flooding. Parents have the responsibility for getting students to and from school safely and need to decide whether the journey is safe when severe weather affects transport and/or walking conditions.

Information about school closure will be communicated as follows:

• We will send a text message to the students primary contact

• via out Twitter & Facebook Accounts
• We will notify Telford & Wrekin council who will produce a list of closed schools on their website which can be accessed via the link below:

• We will notify the local radio – Radio Shropshire, 96FM

In the event of a full/partial school closure during the school day we will endeavour to inform parents by 07:30
