Macmillan Coffee Morning at Charlton School

For several years, we have held a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Charlton School. This event grew over the years and became a huge success. Unfortunately, due to COVID we were not able to participate in this charity event, until now, when it will be part of the Charltonbury Festival on 10th June.

Dear Parents and Carers

For several years, we have held a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Charlton School. This event grew over the years and became a huge success. Unfortunately, due to COVID we were not able to participate in this charity event, until now, when it will be part of the Charltonbury Festival on 10th June. There will also be music, with family activities, stalls and side shows and a host of refreshment choices.  The festival is timed to coincide with the school’s Jubilee celebrations and will have the theme of celebrating multicultural Britain in honour of the Queen’s Jubilee.

To support this event, we will also be holding the following House Competition,

 *Charlton Bake-Off 2022* and the theme of this will be ‘the Queen’s Jubilee’.

All students, parents and staff are invited to participate and House points will be given to all.  There will be prizes for first, second and third place for both staff/parents and students in each year group.

We look forward to seeing all the bakes which you create, and we thank you for your continued support. All cakes will need to brought to school on the morning of Friday 10th June.
