Appointment of Permanent CEO

Dear families,

It gives me great pleasure to announce, after a thorough and careful selection process, Paul Roberts has been appointed as the permanent Chief Executive Officer of the Learning Community Trust.

With over two decades of experience in education, Paul has held a range of leadership roles, beginning as a PE teacher and progressing to managing sixth forms and leading schools. As Principal and later Executive Principal of Hadley Learning Community, Paul led the academy to be consistently within the top 5% of secondary schools nationally - an achievement that brought lasting benefits to both students and the wider community.

Paul has been instrumental in the Learning Community Trust since its very inception, playing a key role in shaping its vision and growth. His deep commitment to improving educational outcomes has guided the Trust from its earliest days. Since February, he has been leading the Trust as Interim CEO, continuing to drive its mission forward with dedication and strategic leadership.

The Board of Trustees and Members are delighted that Paul will now continue in this role permanently, leading us into the next exciting phase of our journey. Together, we remain focused on delivering an inclusive, inspiring, and transformative education for every young person in our care.

At the heart of the Learning Community Trust is a deep belief in the power of partnership. We know that when schools, families, and communities come together, young people are better supported to thrive. Paul, and staff across the Trust, are dedicated to strengthening these vital relationships; ensuring that every child feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

We appreciate your continued support in helping us create the right conditions for every young person to flourish. We look forward to working with you in the year ahead as we continue to grow, improve, and create the best possible opportunities for every child and young person across our Trust.

Yours sincerely

Kevin Barton
