To support students preparing for their upcoming mock examinations, please find attached our revision strategies guide. This booklet has been designed to support parents/carers and students with the reasons why revision is so important and ways to begin revision. Within the booklet are tips for different subject areas and details on who to speak to for more support.  

Alongside work done at home, students are receiving strategies in class and staff are making several resources available on Doddle. We would appreciate any support from parents and carers in encouraging our students to access these materials and take responsibility for their studies outside of the classroom.

It is also essential that students have the correct equipment for their mock exams over the next two weeks. We have noticed in recent weeks that several Year 10 students are not coming to school with the correct equipment. Please can I ask for support from adults at home to ensure that all students are arriving to school with the correct equipment including;

• 2 x Pens
• 1 x Pencil
• 1 x Red Pen
• Ruler
• Scientific Calculator
• Optional extras: highlighters, rubber or any other mathematical tools such as a protractor
